Who are we?
Esten and Grant!
Two friends, on a mission to partner with God among university students in Belgium and Ireland. At the invite of European missionaries, we have begun a 10-month journey with a team of six to share the hope of Jesus with students and to walk alongside them as they uncover their deepest purpose in life—to love God and one another.
We have created this website to connect you to our mission and to each other. We will post our monthly newsletters in the “Tales” section, as well as now-and-again blogs about the stories we’re seeing around us. You’ll join us in what we learn, and you’ll find many ways to pray with us.
Check out “Evidence” for a constantly-updated photo album from the best of our adventures and “Prayer” for relevant prayer requests.
Thank you for joining the journey.
Together in Christ,
Esten and Grant
What is Agape Life Belgium?
While in Belgium, our team will be partnering with Agape Life to launch student led movements for Christ at universities across Belgium. Currently, evangelical Christianity is represented by less than 2% of Belgium’s population and many self-identified “Christians” rarely experience the fruit of a relationship with Jesus.
However, within recent months we have seen a revived interest in spiritual topics among university-aged students in Belgium. Dozens of students in Antwerp and Leuven are flocking to Agape-supported events.
Agape’s prayerful goal is to launch an official ministry presence among students at the University of Antwerpen and KU Leuven by Thanksgiving of 2026 with regular weekly meetings and discipleship rhythms for interested students.
With the arrival of our team from the States, we have the boots on the ground needed to support this launch. However, we need your support through prayer that we may see this goal through to completion.
